Monaco was established as a financial centre in the late 19th century when the first commercial banks arrived in the Principality, and is now home to around forty banking and financial institutions.
Since its creation, our firm has handled cases involving every kind of banking and financial law issue in the Principality. We monitor legal and regulatory developments for our clients on an annual basis, and provide specific training and guidance to ensure they are familiar with the legal environment. This includes not just Monegasque, but also European and international case law, with globalisation having unequivocally reshaped the traditional context for banks and economic operators.
